I think my mail is FINALLY catching up to me!!! I've never moved outside of KC before and I've always known where I was moving to!!! This time I've moved half-way across the country and I'm living out of a hotel room!!! I received to my PO Box today the Netflix DVD's that were shipped to me on Jan 9th and 16th!!!! I'm glad I didn't have a specific date that I needed to return these!!!! The other thing is that I keep remembering people that I need to notify about my new address...Aaaaaargh!!!!

Well...I almost panicked tonight!!! I've been going for walks most evenings to explore my new surroundings. Tonight I walked a little TOO far before trying to find my way back to the hotel!!! I wound up on this trail in a park and got twisted around!!! It got VERY dark VERY quickly!!! Thank God there were a couple of young ladies also out walking in the dark, they were together but I was alone.  I started jogging a bit to keep them in site.  They slowed down at some point and I was able to catch up with them. I told them that I'd gotten a little turned around and that I was just trying to keep my eyes on them hoping they would lead me back to a point where I could find my way back to where I started.  Janelle and Kylie were my guarding angels tonight! They not only got me back to the trail that I started on but they walked with me farther than I thought they would and they discovered more of Lake Havasu that they didn't know about!!!

Relocation

1st off I will apologize for the tardiness of my initial post. I'm trying to get settled at my new home in Lake Havasu City/Parker, AZ!!! This was my 1st week at my new job!!! I Really think that I'm going to like it here!!! The weather has been close to perfect!!!! I haven't worn a coat since I left Kansas City!!!! Here's a couple pictures from the 2nd Annual Balloon Festival in Lake Havasu City!!!!

I actually go to get up close to one that had landed in the middle of a residential neighborhood I was deriving through Sunday while looking for a church!!! That was REALLY interesting!!!
